I’ve been seeing this on IG(follow me – fitmamaplus2) where you list 20 things about yourself.


Well on IG I only read a few because let’s be real, people just want to see the rocking “before and after” pics, or a pic of your food that you’re about to shove in yo face! Or of your nails. Holla to that! Thanks for the ideas!

Anywho here are Fitmama’s 20 random facts!



1. I’m tall. I’m 5’9 so I am usually the giant in my group.

2. I’m a mama (single and ready to bootycall mingle) to a little girl and boy :)

3. I work 2 jobs. Kill me now. I literally work 7 days a week. So I need a sugar daddy STAT!

4. I am extremely sarcastic so if you’re offended then fuck off you can’t handle this shit.

5. I am trying to losing all the weight I gained during my last pregnancy…which was 4 years ago…

6. I am super obsessed with NerkyMeg – her shits funny. Go look at it.

7. I’m a curser. Oh fucking well.

8. I usually post all my shit on IG – again follow me – fitmamaplus2.

9. I am trying to be a “runner” that’s some hard shit to accomplish.

10. I don’t like running so #9 is hard to accomplish.

11. I only watch about 4 hours of tv a week. I have these specific shows I watch.

12. I am always listening to music. All day during work, on the way to and from home, at home, at the gym, and while I’m sleeping. So basically Music rocks my world.

13. I wish my future husband is a hybrid of Robert Downey Jr., Ryan Reynolds, and the Rock.

14. I’m the youngest child, and the baby of all the grandkids. And no I was not spoiled. WHAT.THE.FUCK.

15. I logged onto Myspace today and it felt awkward as fuck…

16. I hate it when people don’t make straight lines when they vacuum.

17. I have about 5 different chapstick/lip balm in my purse alone.

18. Each one of the rooms in my apartment has a different scent  it’s sooooo yummy!!

19. I don’t like to cook, but I like to try new recipes. Wait…what?! I don’t know.

20. I need to come up with better topics for my blog…fo reals…

Update

So on my last post I talked about running 5 miles with co workers after work.

Well lets just say this mama only did a little bit over 2 miles.

It was HOT!!! (understatement of the year)
I had a leg cramp.
I had an ass cramp.
I was sweating like a whore in confession.

It was just a horrible experience all around.

SO from that I learned a few things.
1. I'm stupid for running in 110+ degree heat.
2. I SUCK at running outside! I can do about 2.25 miles in under 30 on a treadmill, but outside my time is like double that! WTF?!

So now I ONLY run outside, and I completely hate it to the point where I refused to do it for the past 2 days. NO BUENO.

I HAVE to increase my speed outside asap!!!
Reason being...
I've signed up for my first 5k!!
The Electric Run!!!


I'm sure excited!
Plus I don't want to be the slow one in the group, so I need to step up my stride ;)

Also I will admit that I gained 3 lbs back :(
Ugh this weight loss shit is tough.
And Olive Garden is just toooo yummy ;)

Well I need to get my eating under control.
I was counting my calories which was fine but I felt too much pressure.
I wouldn't eat something because of the amount of calories it had. That is not how I want to live!
I started the 6 week body make over where you completely change how you eat and for the better.
You have protein with EVERY meal and snack.
So I am actually getting "full" now.

well I noticed I gained 1lb when I first started so I tried to go back to counting my calories, and I just wanted to cry because I was always hungry and I had a migraine. Not good. So I'm back on the 6 week body makeover again. haha fail on my part.
Trial and error I suppose.

I need to get back on track, and I am!!

I'm going to crack that whip on my weight loss journey!
I was sooo close to the 20 lbs lost mark but of course I f'd that up ;)

Oh and I got a ticket...
My 1st one EVER!
It breaks my heart :(
I got it because I tried to get around the car in front of me because my exit was coming up, but he kept slamming on his breaks and there was a ridge on my right. So I got in the carpool lane to go around him. And guess who doesn't carpool, so therefore shouldn't be in the carpool lane...
That's right - ME.
So I got those flashing lights behind me...
UGH FAIL.

Well time for me to go back to work.
I don't want to but I've got a ticket to pay for...

5 Miles + Heat + Estefanie =

I don't know what it equals to just yet.
To be honest I already want to put FAIL at the end of that equation.
But that is what is going down after work today...
Did I mention that there is a heat advisory today???
Yeah...
Great day to decide to start running outside huh?!

Or that I forgot my towel and my water bottle...
Yup this is going to be a FAIL...
;P

I also couldn't find my 30 Day Shred DVD, and attempted to go to the store to buy the DVD, but there were multiple break downs before we got to the car. To be honest, I don't know who had more break downs, the kiddos or myself?

Joys of being a single parent.
You'll NEVER GO ANYWHERE BY YOURSELF...

Anywho I bought the DVD today during my lunch.
It is back on with Ms. Jillian.
I don't know if I'll be able to do the DVD tonight, considering I don't know if I'm about to die from heat exhaustion during my run.

I'm actually pretty excited for my run today.
It's like I'm testing all my training for the past couple of weeks.
It's amazing to see how far your body has changed once you start making it work.

Anywho, I'm LOVING Katy Perry's new song ROAR.
Can you say AMAZING?!?!
I already loved Katy Perry before, jeez I even have a board on Pinterest called "I want to be just like Katy Perry when I grow up". The link will lead you directly to it. :)

Well let me mentally prepare for this heated run that I'm part taking in.

Jillian - 1 Estefanie - 0

So I've been slating off lately on my working out, and my eating habits. FAIL.
No worries I'm getting that shit under control ASAP.
Well some what.

Dinner is my issue.

I eat healthy allllll day long, then dinner shows up and I'm like I'll have a double-double and 2 fries...FAIL.

I need the motivation aspect to kick me in the ass at night. Shockingly I do pretty well on the weekends, so at least I have that ;) Likely because I don't eat while I work all day during the weekends. NOT GOOD!! But it is what it is...

Also I've started doing Jillian Michaels 30 day shred.
I didn't do it last night because my little man decided to touch mommy's workout DVD...
We are still in the process of "finding" the DVD.
At this point I'm so desperate that I might just buy the DVD again. 
I feel awkward not doing that workout after doing it for only 2 days. I feel like my workout is not complete. 
Jillian kicked my booty.

I'm going to start working out with some of my co workers once a week to do 5 miles and strength training. This is going to happen on my "rest" day. Fun stuff...
Just an update about my babies...
My princess Eliana is officially in 2nd grade!!
Her first day was on Wednesday.
She was sooo excited :)
She said that she really likes her teacher, and they have fun during class.
I'm happy she is liking it.
I LOVED her 1st grade teacher, and Eliana learned soooo much last year, I hope it continues.
I met her teacher and the student teacher during "Meet the teacher" night.
And both of them seem great :)
Vibe was off a bit but from the things that Eliana is telling me that happens during class makes me feel better :)
My little man TJ is in a Pre-K class!!!
He started on Monday. He was a bit nervous but a lot of his friends were in there with him so I'm happy that he knows other little kids in there.
I can't believe my baby is 4 years old :(
One more year then both my babies will be in school together...
I don't want them to grow up anymore :(
Well I'm gonna go buy the workout DVD.

Work it girl!

So I am really trying my best to lose weight, and I think I am doing really well so far. I'm down 13 pounds :)

Granted my eating could improve A LOT!!!
By A LOT I mean, that everything I eat could be healthier.
I'm not doing too bad but every time I see people eat "clean" it seems that their "clean" is a lot cleaner...I don't know if that even makes any sense?? OH WELL.

Yesterday I did 12.6 miles!!
THAT is the most miles I've EVER done.
Let's be real, I am a "bigger" girl and I love food.
I've never really been into working out before.
When I lived in Vegas I was a lot more active there, then I was when I first moved to AZ. WORSTMOVEEVER!
Once I moved to AZ it seems that I became lazy.
By lazy I mean gaining around 40 pounds, then getting knocked up and gaining 100 pounds during my pregnancy...and I probably ate 100 pounds of food while I was preggo...It was gross.

Anywho long story short.
This girl is working it!
I get excited for my workouts that day.
Yes there are days that I dread it but feel oh so amazing afterwards.
I am starting to see muscles form that I haven't seen since before babies.
It feels great to be able to be in charge of changing your body.
It feels great to be able to motivate others by your change.
It feels great to be able to show my kids that living an active lifestyle is the best thing for you.

Just keep working it girl!!! :)

Well off to meet the teacher night here I come!!
